This custom Tauras Grand sauna and hot tub combination was designed and manufactured for a Mitsubishi Motors dealership in Austria, with a strong focus on premium materials, distinctive aesthetics, and site-specific technical solutions.

Measuring 5700 × 2450 mm, the unit was extensively customized to meet the client’s requirements.

The exterior is finished in oiled thermowood pine, while the sauna interior features light aspen wood, creating a warm contrast with the darker façade. A DecNord feature wall at the rear adds another contemporary architectural detail to the interior.

The glazing was upgraded to double black Planibel glass, including the sliding glass system, giving the entire structure a sleek and cohesive appearance. An additional black-framed opening window was incorporated into the sauna.

Several technical elements were also adapted specifically for this project. The heater was positioned on the side rather than at the front, while the electrical box was relocated to a non-standard position on the side wall. Dedicated 40 mm and 15 mm floor openings were integrated according to the installation plan for the water connection and electrical wiring. The sauna was also equipped with mechanical ventilation for controlled air circulation.

The adjoining hot tub was finished in Black Marble acrylic and equipped with a massage system and integrated LED lighting, complementing the dark architectural details of the sauna.

The result is a highly customized wellness solution combining Nordic materials, modern design and carefully engineered details – tailored to both the client’s visual preferences and the technical requirements of the installation.
