Drainage, properly
Around the cabin. The ground should fall away from the sauna in every direction. Where the sauna sits near the house, water must be directed away from the house too. A gravel margin around the perimeter stops splash-back staining the lower cladding.
Under the cabin. If the base is solid, the sub-base under it needs to drain. If the base is piers or screws, keep the underside clear and ventilated. Do not close it in decoratively without leaving airflow.
Inside the cabin. Traditional saunas get water on the floor. Some cabins are specified with an internal floor drain, others rely on a sloped, sealed floor and drying between sessions. Establish which yours is before installation, because a floor drain has to be planned into the base.
Where does the water go? The question with the most locally variable answer. Surface water disposal is regulated differently in different countries and municipalities.
